FILE REQUIREMENTS
We usually use Gerber files for different layers and Excellon files for drilling.

For example, 2-layer boards usually have at least:
-
top and bottom copper layers
-
top and bottom mask layers
-
drill file

In this example there are 5 files. In addition, we need the corresponding files if the boards have component printing or a temporary solder masks.

We would like the files to be Gerber RS-274-X/D and the drill files Excellon or Sieb&Meyer format. Remember to specify the file parameters for Gerber 274D and Excellon formats (English/Metric, Leading/Trailing, etc.). We can handle other formats as well, but the possibilities of converting them reliably into Gerber format will be investigated on a case-by-case basis.

The picture shows all the layers that can be in a 2-layer circuit board.
